The country I'd love to visit: China

Did you know that Chinese “words” are just drawings that represent ideas, feelings and places in a poetic way? Chinese “words” or symbols are called “ideograms”. For example, this is the ideogram for “yang”. Yang is a concept, and it expresses the masculine energy, light, strength, sun. The symbol itself represents the sun rising.

China has always been a mysterious and attractive place to me. I have several motivations to visit China: the food, the people (it is the most populated country in the world), the ancient philosophy, the beautiful landscapes, but mostly, I would like to go there for one reason: martial arts.

Why martial arts? Because I started practicing Kung Fu four months ago, and I love it. It requires a lot of concentration, flexibility and speed. One of the most important exponents of this martial art is Grand Master Ip Man. He taught Kung Fu all his life, and his most known student was Bruce Lee.

If you’re interested, here goes a video, a little piece of the movie “Ip Man”, based in the life of this wise and amazing man.
